Maison Martin Margiela is the next, and possibly most talked about, designer collaboration with H&M. Known for its oversized, over-the-top, avant-garde edginess, it will be interesting to see how mainstream shoppers react to the brand's high fashion aesthetic. Unlike some past partnerships, it appears as if Margiela has stayed true to it's artistic roots without dialing back in an attempt to please the average shopper. Love it (hello, metallic skinnies) or hate it (goodbye, oversized menswear-inspired suit), this is one collaboration I can't wait to see more of.

What are your thoughts? Will you be heading to H&M to check out the full collection on November 15th? I personally think this is a huge step up from the gaudy disappointment of H&M's last collaboration with Anna Dello Russo (who has an amazing and unique sense of style that one should never attempt to recreate for the masses…).
